What mediation is (and isn’t)
Mediation is a safe, neutral way to help people talk when communication has broken down.
Mediation is:
- Voluntary.
- Impartial.
- Confidential.
- Focused on practical solutions.
Mediation is not:
- Legal advice.
- A process to decide who is “right” or “wrong”.
- Legally binding.
Most people simply want to be heard, understood and able to move forward. Mediation helps make that possible.
How our mediation process works
You contact us.
You can self refer or be referred by a partner agency.
We speak to each person separately.
Two trained mediators meet with each party individually.
A joint meeting (if everyone agrees).
We bring everyone together in a safe, neutral space.
You create a Mediation Agreement.
A voluntary, practical plan you all decide on together.
You keep the agreement.
It’s not legally binding, but it provides a clear route map for moving forward.
