Ashford Mediation Service provides free confidential and impartial mediation services to residents of Ashford who are experiencing conflict with others.

Our Volunteer Mediators are an essential part of Ashford Mediation Service and help us provide a service of mediation to those in dispute and experiencing conflict in the Borough of Ashford.

By doing good for other people and the local community you can receive a sense of accomplishment. Being a volunteer can help boost your self-esteem, self-confidence and life experiences and satisfaction.

Our Volunteer Mediators carry a great pride in the support they offer, and the role can give you a sense of identity.

The role of a mediator is to help people find relief from conflict, anger and stress.

By becoming a volunteer you will bring with you empathy, patience and persistence, as well as a non-judgemental outlook. Our team enjoys sharing optimism and trust to create creative, common sense and long-lasting solutions.
